Location & Schedule

Milwaukee, WI – Full‑Time night shifts (166 night shifts per year).

Compensation

• Base salary: $353,755
• Sign‑on bonus: $30,000
• Seniority bonus (7+ years post‑residency): $10,560
• Relocation assistance (if applicable): up to $10,000
• Productivity incentives: 2.5% Quality Metric bonus annually
• CME allowance: $4,000
• Malpractice coverage with tail

How you’ll make an impact

• Join a dedicated overnight duo of two Nocturnists, supported by a daytime team of seven rounders.
• Lead clinical assessments, evaluating and treating hospital admissions as the primary attending or consulting physician during overnight hours.
• Teach and mentor residents on every shift, fostering academic excellence.
• Provide specialized care within a closed ICU model where Intensivists lead all codes and procedures.
• Document patient journeys accurately to ensure seamless communication across the 300‑bed facility and integrated network.

Minimum requirements

• Physician MD/DO credentialed by the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board prior to hire or transfer.
• Advanced Life Support certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
