Responsibilities

  • Medical and administrative leadership of the hospital medicine program
  • Oversight of physician recruitment, retention, mentoring, and professional development
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient experience strategies
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on operational and strategic goals
  • Develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and physician engagement
  • Support ongoing growth and program expansion opportunities

Requirements

  • Board-certified in internal medicine or family medicine
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hospital medicine experience
  • Prior leadership experience as medical director, associate director, chief hospitalist, or similar role preferred but not required
  • Proven success in quality improvement and physician engagement
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and operational leadership skills
  • Passion for mentoring physicians and advancing patient-centered care
