About the role

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Hospitalist Candidate Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of inpatients under the supervision of attending physicians
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure patient care continuity
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings
• Assure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Current Medical License in West Virginia
• Current DEA license
• Passing score on the American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Family Medicine

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Hospitalist preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Skills

• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Strong organizational skills

Pay

Guaranteed salary of $277,000 with the potential for an individual wRVU-based productivity bonus and group performance incentives.

Standard term of 3 years with flexible scheduling, working only 14 shifts per month.
