Hospitalist

Job Summary

As our Hospitalist, you will join Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican, a physician-led, patient-centered organization, in beautiful Santa Cruz, California. You will provide comprehensive inpatient care with a blend of rounding and admitting/swing shifts within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient care within an Open ICU setting, emphasizing physician autonomy and quality of care.
• Embrace the quintessential California lifestyle in Santa Cruz, renowned for its stunning coastline, vibrant community, and abundant outdoor activities.
• Contribute to the education of future healthcare professionals by precepting and mentoring APPs and residents.
• Have the opportunity to work additional admitting/swing shifts for extra compensation, allowing for tailored scheduling and earning potential.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Active or eligible license in the state of California.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay

A competitive annual salary ranging from $315k-$340k, with productivity-based bonus potential.
