About the role
Inpatient services span a broad range of primary and secondary Acute Care services. Outpatient services include Rehabilitation, Obstetrical/Gynecological, Sleep Testing, Cardiology, and additional care. Hospitalist Service Daily Encounters: 114; Staffing Model: 16-20 per Physician – 84 hours of Physician coverage daily; 12-14 per APP – 36 hours of APP coverage daily. EMR: Epic. 14 Physician/8 APP provider Hospitalist team. Dedicated Nocturnist. Intensivists onsite until ~5 pm, then on call. Procedures not required. Open ICU. As an Assistant Medical Director at USACS you will work alongside the Medical Director and staff at the hospital. The Integrated Acute Care (IAC) team will work in collaboration, ensuring the delivery of an effective, efficient patient‑centered care and optimal patient experience.
