Hospital Therapist PRN
Job Summary
Crittenton Children's Center is seeking a PRN Hospital Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as case management services. The therapist will function as the primary therapist for patients and families under the supervision of a psychiatrist, and will assist with Utilization Management tasks.
About the Role
This position requires the ability to develop communication systems for workload triage and to assist the Intake Director in managing the daily activities of the Intake Department, including verifying and coordinating funding eligibility and benefits, and conducting intake assessments.
Responsibilities
- Provides individual, group, and family therapy
- Recommends and implements therapeutic interventions
- Develops communication systems for workload triage
- Affords support to the Intake Director in managing the Intake Department
- Assists with Utilization Management tasks
- Conducts clinical interviews and recommends levels of care
- Writes recommendation letters
Requirements
- Licensure required within 90 days of position start date
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health
Qualifications
- PRN schedule: 8-4 or 9-5, primarily Monday through Friday, with potential weekend opportunities
- Experience in providing individual, group, and family therapy
- Ability to formulate treatment and discharge plans
- Knowledge of aftercare planning
- Skills in writing recommendation letters
