About the role

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Biloxi is dedicated to helping individuals manage mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and more. Our team utilizes evidence-based therapies to promote long-term wellness through various inpatient and outpatient services.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services including assessments, interventions, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Conducts individual, family, and group therapy sessions as assigned.
• Reviews and compiles multidisciplinary treatment plans under supervision.
• Attends multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and updates on patient progress.
• Communicates with patients and their families in a culturally sensitive manner.
• Performs treatment and discharge planning based on patient needs.

Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement: Clinical Social Worker (CSW), LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPC-A (TX Only) or Psychologist.
• Experience: 0 to 1 year post-graduate experience in clinical practice.
• Qualifications: Knowledge of mental illness and chemical dependency, ability to assess and interpret patient data, and skills in therapy modalities.
• Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, handle stress, and coordinate multi-faceted workloads.
