Hospital Operations Coordinator (RN) - PRN

About the Role

The Hospital Operations Coordinator (RN) manages patient flow, ensures timely admissions and transfers, and supports bed occupancy policies. This role interprets hospital and nursing policies, serves as an administrative liaison, and provides leadership in the absence of managers or directors. It includes supervising departments such as Admitting and Medical Records, resolving patient and visitor concerns, and overseeing emergency responses to maintain safety.

• Coordinating staffing based on patient needs and mentoring staff

• Responding to emergency codes and documenting situations

Requirements

• Current RN license or eligibility in Maryland
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale
