Hospital Medicine – Nocturnist NP/PA

Description

Physicians (7a-7p) and 1 NPPA (7a-7p) are needed for day coverage at the CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth Hospital, while 1 Physician (7p-7a) and 1 NPPA (7p-7a) are needed for night coverage. Admissions are handled in round robin among the daytime hospitalists and swing shift NP. No dedicated admitters. Dermatology, Rheumatology, endocrinology are not available, partial coverage for ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

• Coverage for ICU team running codes
• Coverage for rapid response along with rapid response team and critical care nursing NP
• Aid with admissions
• Required 4 hours of stroke CME
