Hospital Medicine Physician (Nocturnist)
About the role
We are hiring for a nocturnist position at Frederick Memorial Hospital. This role requires working exclusively overnight shifts and involves delivering exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Qualifications
- Board-certified in internal medicine or family medicine
- Hospitalist experience required
- Authorized to work in the United States
Key Responsibilities
- Perform admissions
- Split responsibilities with an APP
- Play a pivotal role in the rapid response team
- Manage codes with the intensivist team
- Certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support
- Attend weekly huddles and monthly team meetings
- Work in Meditech Expand, a web-based system with access to internal informatics platform
Scheduling
The full-time position follows a 7-day-on, 7-day-off rotation. The nocturnist position is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Rewards and Compensation
The base salary for a full-time nocturnist is $319,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and growth. Additional compensation is paid for shifts worked above full-time commitment.
