Your Impact

Livewell Hospital Managers are builders. In this role, you will help launch, grow, and stabilize a brand-new hospital from the ground up. This means creating the culture, team, and operational rhythm that define long-term success. This role requires grit, energy, and a strong drive to grow a business in close partnership with your Founding DVM and regional leadership. You aren't just managing a clinic; you are establishing a community landmark.

Building the Foundation

  • Establish hospital culture, standards, and expectations from day one, implementing Livewell operational playbooks and partnering with the Founding DVM to align medical and business strategy.
  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies, building relationships with community organizations and local businesses to champion Livewell’s brand presence and drive visit trends.
  • Lead the interviewing and hiring process for all support roles, building a cohesive, growth-oriented team culture and holding teammates accountable to high performance and behavioral standards.

Driving Growth & Community Engagement

  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies, building relationships with community organizations and local businesses to champion Livewell’s brand presence and drive visit trends.

Owning the Business

  • Manage P&L performance, labor costs, and inventory controls.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Delivering an Exceptional Client Experience

  • Create systems that support hospitality and efficiency, ensuring high-quality service aligned with Livewell standards and proactively resolving client concerns.

What You'll Bring

  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a strong growth mindset.
  • Demonstrated grit, resilience, and the ability to navigate ambiguous start-up dynamics.
  • Experience building and developing teams with a positive, culture-focused leadership style.
  • Willingness to learn and own financial performance (P&L, labor, inventory).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to balance execution and strategy.
  • Previous management experience in veterinary, medical, retail, or service environments is preferred.
  • De novo or start-up experience (specifically within veterinary medicine) is strongly preferred.
