Responsibilities

• Painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment
• Preventive maintenance
• Variety of janitorial duties
• Maintain facility grounds in a neat and attractive appearance
• Operate and maintain the emergency power plant
• Maintain all light fixtures in good working condition and change light bulbs as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance, electrical test, as well as the removal, installation, and repair of all mechanical/electrical equipment
• Various janitorial duties
• Maintain tools and materials in good condition and in their proper location
• Take necessary safety precautions when handling hand/power tools and equipment
• Ensure proper tag-out and lock-out procedures when working on equipment

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred
• Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment, ensuring proper safety precautions
• Must have experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering
• Must have experience working in a hospital setting
• Must have a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred

Pay

The expected compensation range is $16.00-$19.00 per hour.
