About the role
The Hospital Housekeeper maintains a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff at Baptist Silverleaf. Baptist Health uses state-of-the-art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines to break down the DNA of germs before manual cleaning, enhancing protection for team members and patients.
Schedule
- Full-Time, Nights (10:30p–6a) when scheduled Mon.–Fri.
- 7a–7p when scheduled on weekends/holidays
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties, including janitorial and custodial services
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas
- Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements
- Maintains a friendly and professional attitude
- Follows safety and security protocols
- Performs other duties as required
Requirements
- 1–2 years of Environmental Services experience preferred
- High School Diploma preferred
