About the role
The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist Health utilizes state-of-the-art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines to enhance cleaning protocols and protect team members and patients.
Schedule
- Part-Time, Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 24 hours per week
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties, including janitorial and custodial services
- Collects trash and linens for disposal or cleaning
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas
- Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements
- Maintains a friendly and professional attitude
- Follows all safety and security protocols
- May perform other duties as required
Requirements
- 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience preferred
- High School Diploma preferred
