We are looking to add a Hospital Housekeeper to join our Baptist St. Augustine FSED Environmental Services team. The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist Health utilizes state-of-the-art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines, which break down the DNA of germs before manual cleaning, enhancing protection for our team and patients.
Schedule
Full-Time, Evenings: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM when scheduled Monday through Friday, and 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM when scheduled on weekends or holidays. Rotating weekends and holidays are required (40 hours per week).
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
- Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
- Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
- Follows safety and security protocols at all times.
- May perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience.
- High School Diploma preferred.
Location: Baptist St. Augustine FSED (Freestanding ED), Main Building.
