About the Role

Trinity Health Grand Rapids is seeking candidates for various food service positions, including Food Service Worker, Cooks, Retail Candidates, Cafeteria Servers, and Food Runners. Full-time and part-time roles are available on 1st and 2nd shifts, with on-the-job training provided.

Schedule

Expectation to work every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Processes room service orders
• Interacts with patients and family members by taking orders via phone and inputting menu selections into the computer
• Gathers, washes, and puts away dry dishes
• Promotes positive customer service relations between Nutrition Services and nursing units, patients, families, and all other contacts
• Maintains knowledge of profession, safe food handling, and sanitation practices

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Guest service background preferred
