Hospice Volunteer Care Coordinator

Full Time (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM)

Responsibilities

• Receive referral calls, complete intakes, document new client services enrollment, and schedule care professionals for hospice
• Update/upload documents to patient charts
• Meet/exceed customer expectations, as well as maintain customer relationships in an ongoing effort to drive higher levels of customer satisfaction
• Ensure that hospice volunteers have everything up to date and turn in all timesheets
• Be responsible for community outreach to recruit new volunteers

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Recruiting experience preferred
• Experience in public speaking preferred
• 1 year experience in management/oversight of multiple individuals required
• Minimum of 2 years experience required in home health; hospice preferred
• Volunteer experience required
