Heartstrings Pet Hospice provides gentle hospice and in‑home euthanasia care to families in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities
You will practice independently on the road, sitting on living‑room floors to answer hard questions with kindness, help families say goodbye with dignity and peace, and provide end‑of‑life care that makes a lasting difference. You’ll never be on your own — experienced colleagues are just a phone call away, and you’ll receive ongoing support and mentorship.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record review prior to start date

Pay
- 5‑day full‑time: $145,000 base salary, plus generous quarterly bonus opportunities
- 4‑day full‑time: starting at $120,000 base salary, plus generous quarterly bonus opportunities
- 2‑ and 3‑day full‑time & self‑managed part‑time schedules: prorated compensation based on schedule (self‑managed scheduling options available)
