About the Role
Provides holistic spiritual and emotional support to patients facing end-of-life, along with their families and caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Arrange and provide counseling aligned with patients' beliefs.
- Conduct comprehensive spiritual and bereavement assessments.
- Develop personalized care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure respectful and tailored care delivery.
- Meet patients and families in their preferred settings.
- Address spiritual and bereavement needs.
- Participate in care planning.
- Ensure services align with patient wishes and care goals.
Requirements
- Master of Divinity degree with ordination or licensure, or
- Baccalaureate degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, or related fields, supervised by an MSW or endorsed by a religious governing body.
