Hospice Nursing Overview

Preferred Hospice is seeking a Full Time RN Case Manager to join our hospice team in the Ozark, MO area. We offer a unique work environment with autonomy, independence, and the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

• See patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and wherever they call home.
• Perform a comprehensive assessment, manage symptoms, provide skilled care, and offer emotional support and education on death and dying.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, monitor medication lists, assess for durable medical equipment (DME) needs, and provide necessary treatments.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed RN in the State of Missouri.
• Lives within a commutable distance to the office.
• Willingness to train the right candidate.
• A gentle, loving heart essential.
• Ability to work as a team player and represent the company well in the community.
• Computer and smartphone skills for electronic medical records (EMR) charting, email, mileage computation apps, etc.
