About the Role

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospice Department for a full-time weekend position with benefits. This role allows you to enjoy your weekdays free while making a meaningful difference in the lives of hospice patients and their families. The schedule is Friday at 4:30 p.m. through Monday at 9:00 a.m., with on-call support throughout the weekend and patient visits as needed for hospice case management.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current, active RN license in Missouri and Kansas, or a compact RN license; must be willing to obtain additional licensure within 30 days of hire
  • At least 12 months of RN experience within the last five years, or current clinical knowledge as required by applicable regulations
  • At least one year of hospice case management experience required
  • Hospice nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid auto liability insurance
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends and make patient visits as needed
  • A genuine passion for hospice care and providing compassionate support to patients and families
