Hospice Palliative Physician

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established, stable and well-respected team of physicians and Nurse Practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation services, Monday-Friday
• Work on the busy and well-respected Palliative Care Service
• Work alongside Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers and Chaplains
• Participate in quality committees and teach medical trainees

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
