Hospice Nursing Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hospice Nursing Supervisor to oversee clinical services, support hospice personnel, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and leadership experience within a hospice setting and be committed to maintaining professional standards and excellent patient service.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and patient information to determine hospice/home care needs.
• Assign hospice personnel and oversee patient case management.
• Conduct home visits, case reviews, record reviews, and service evaluations.
• Provide clinical guidance to hospice clinicians and support quality patient care.
• Assist with care plans, therapeutic goals, priorities, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Conduct quarterly record reviews and communicate findings to leadership and hospice staff.
• Assist with hiring, interviewing, orientation, training, and staff development.
• Support policies, procedures, education programs, and organizational goals.
• Participate in community outreach, public relations, and quality improvement activities.
• Promote excellent patient care and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospice experience.
• Hospice leadership and clinical coordination experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hospice clinical practices, care coordination, and interdisciplinary team processes.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (occasional coverage may be needed)
