Hospice Nurse (RN), Full-Time

About the role

Provides compassionate, comprehensive hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families in a Hospice House setting. Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and volunteers, ensuring quality support and services. Utilizes assessment, teaching, and intervention skills to improve patients' quality of life, aligning with hospice philosophy and goals.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and family needs
• Coordinate supportive care
• Oversee staff and volunteers
• Maintain adherence to hospice values
• Participate in community outreach and promote agency programs
• Ensure policy compliance and protect patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• Valid Washington RN license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Food Worker Card
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Pass background and drug screenings
• Meet physical and environmental demands
• Maintain health and safety standards
