Hospice Massage Therapist

About the Role

As a Massage Therapist at Moments Hospice, you'll play a vital role in alleviating patients' symptoms and promoting comfort through personalized massage therapy interventions tailored to each patient's individualized care plan, working under the direction of the Clinical Director. Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy services under the direction of the Clinical Director according to each patient's individualized care plan
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment and effectiveness
• Perform massage therapy to alleviate symptoms and promote relaxation and comfort
• Observe and report patient responses and condition changes to the clinical team
• Maintain accurate patient records within 24-48 hours of sessions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours of training
• Current licenses or certifications as required by state law
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license required
• National Certification Exam (NCTMB) completion (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience as a Massage Therapist (Preferred)
