Hospice LPN

About the role

We are a well-established hospice company with 5 offices across the state of Missouri, serving over 65 counties. We are currently looking for experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in Ozark, MO.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient, family, and caregiver in coping with issues related to death and dying.
• Perform head-to-toe assessment and vital sign check on all assigned patients for the day.
• Occasionally provide personal care, bathing, dressing, etc. to the patient.
• Communicate effectively with all hospice staff and provide all support as needed.
• Provide nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support to the patient, family, and caregivers.
• Provide education to the patient, family, and caregivers.
• Documentation per electronic medical record; mileage computation per phone app.

Requirements

• Currently licensed in the State of Missouri as an LPN.
• Live within a commutable distance to the Ozark, MO office.
• Reliable transportation and car insurance required.
• Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Qualifications

We are looking for nurses who know how to love and provide hands-on care to patients facing a terminal illness. We can teach you hospice regulations, medications, and charting.

Pay

Hourly rate and mileage reimbursement provided. Recent company-wide increase in mileage benefit!
