Hospice LPN

About the role

We are a well-established hospice company looking to add to our team. Regional Hospice has 3 offices covering the southwest corner of Missouri---Lebanon, Springfield, and Joplin. We are currently looking for experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in Lebanon, MO.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient, family and caregiver in coping with issues related to death and dying.
• Perform head-to-toe assessment and vital sign check on all assigned patients for the day.
• Occasionally provide personal care, bathing, dressing, etc to the patient.
• Communicate effectively with all hospice staff and provide all support as needed.
• Provide nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support to the patient, family, and caregivers.
• Provide education to the patient, family, and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed in the State of Missouri as an LPN.
• Live within a commutable distance to the office.
• Reliable transportation and car insurance required.
