Hospice Liaison

About the role

Hospice of Virginia is seeking a driven, high-impact Hospice Liaison to grow their presence in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate should have experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare marketing and possess strong relationship-building and referral-generating skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and facilitates referrals to Hospice care based on Hospice admission criteria
• Affords assistance in the information gathering, education, and form completion aspects of patient intake, admissions, and transition to home
• Develops a consultative relationship, in assigned accounts by making effective customer contacts and presentations
• Develops and implements marketing and education programs to increase awareness of company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, or other related fields is preferred
• Acceptable combination of experience and/or training may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Minimum of one year of professional sales experience preferred
• Experience in the hospice and health care industry a plus
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
• Valid driver’s license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements
• Strong customer service skills and ability to keep good relationships with customers, co-workers, and other business partners

Pay

$60,000 - $80,000 (plus performance based incentives)
