What will you be doing:

• Provide meals to the residents of the Pat Roche House
• Be a part of the Hospice team, providing care to families
• The schedule is per diem, 1 weekend per month, Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Light cooking, meal preparation, baking, and designing a food menu weekly (6-8 meals per day per orders)
• Kitchen clean up: restocking, washing dishes, floors, and vacuuming
• Pick up food at supermarket, if needed, and put food away
• Deliver prepared meals to nursing station

Compensation:

$20/hr.

What we’re looking for in you:

• 6 months+ experience with meal prep, cooking, small food assembly
• Interest in health care facility and passion for hospice philosophy (a plus)
• Strong people, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to change and willingness to switch gears easily
• Respectful of patient privacy and maintaining confidentiality
• Kitchen certification training available
• Ability to work 1 weekend per month, Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
