Role Summary
In the Kitchen Support position, you will support the team to execute duties and provide a memorable Guest experience. This role offers opportunities for culinary growth.
Responsibilities
- Bring a passion for food and an energetic, fun attitude daily
- Prepare all required items for the line according to approved recipes and portion controls
- Follow and execute prep lists daily
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Minimize food waste, theft, and ensure proper food storage, requisitions, safety, and sanitation
- Clean food preparation area and equipment after each use
- Communicate with Team Members to ensure Guests receive an extraordinary dining experience
- Present a professional image at all times through proper Cinemark culinary attire
- Achieve standard operating procedures and maintain safety, sanitation, and preventive maintenance consistently
- Wipe down and sanitize Employee and Guest high-contact areas
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment appropriately while performing tasks
- Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- Monitor safety and security issues and report them to management
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Complete basic food handling training and obtain any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
- Team Members working with alcohol must complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance required
- Provide excellent Guest service and interpersonal skills including communication (verbal and written)
- Have an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- Be able to work in a team environment and independently
- Respond with a sense of urgency
Physical And Environmental Requirements
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theater
- Noise level may be moderate to high at times
- Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
