Role Summary
In the Kitchen Support position, you will support the team to execute duties and provide a memorable Guest experience. This role offers opportunities for culinary growth.
Responsibilities
- Bring a passion for food and an energetic, fun attitude daily
- Prepare all required items for the line in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls
- Follow and execute prep lists daily
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate well with Team Members to ensure Guests receive an extraordinary dining experience
- Clean food preparation area and equipment after each use
- Provide a professional image at all times through proper Cinemark culinary attire
- Ensure standard operating procedures and all preventative maintenance, safety, sanitation are consistently achieved
- Consistently wipe down and sanitize Employee and Guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment while completing position-specific tasks
- Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- Monitor safety and/or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and report issues to management
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Complete basic food handling training and obtain any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
- Team Members who work with alcohol must complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Provide excellent Guest service
- Interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communication with all ages, genders, and personalities
- Ability to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend English
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Respond with a sense of urgency
Physical And Environmental Requirements
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theater
- Noise level may be moderate to high at times
- Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time

Pay Range
$15.00 - $17.08 per hour
