Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers.
- Complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding client needs and concerns.
- Follow established care plans and contribute to the development of personalized care strategies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Successful completion of a competency evaluation program.
- Candidates must be listed on the state Nurse Aide Registry.
- One year of home health aide or nurse aide experience.
- Current CPR/BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross and compliance with state requirements.
