Hospice Field CNA (Float) - PRN

About the role

Empath Trustbridge Hospice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care to our patients across Palm Beach County. Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice has been honored to serve families with compassionate, community-based care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings
• Aid patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment
• Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory
• Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance

• Must have the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices

Schedule

• Per diem 7:00am - 3:30pm with weekend availability
