Hospice Field CNA (Float)

About the role

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care to our patients across Broward and southern Palm Beach counties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings
• Aid patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment
• Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory
• Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance
