About the role
Empath Trustbridge Hospice seeks a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide comfort, dignity, and care to patients in Palm Beach County. The role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.
- Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification.
- Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment.
- Ability to drive, maintain a good driving record, have automobile insurance, and demonstrate basic knowledge of the county territory.
- Effective and efficient performance of assigned tasks.
- Good personal hygiene and neat/clean appearance.
Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are highly encouraged to apply.
