Responsibilities
- Oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical staff
- Provide clinical oversight, mentoring, and guidance to interdisciplinary team members
- Assist with hiring, evaluation, and supervision of clinical personnel
- Develop and maintain clinical policies and procedures that comply with federal and state regulations
- Provide orientation and ongoing training to clinical staff; oversee in-service education
- Maintain quality improvement initiatives, monitor performance indicators, and ensure compliance with the performance improvement program
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and providers regarding goals of care and clinical updates
- Participate in IDT meetings and care conferences
Requirements
- Must possess an active and unencumbered RN license in Rhode Island
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- At least two years in hospice or home health required
