Hospice Branch Director - RN,

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of terminal care including pain and symptom management.
• Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team, overseeing service coordination and case management.
• Supervises staff and ensures compliance with documentation requirements.
• Oversees day-to-day office and clinical operations.
• Assigns appropriate staff members to patients/families and acts as a staff nurse when necessary.
• Participates in community awareness and education programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and current RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience within the past three years, with one year in a hospice setting.
• Credentialing in federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing hospice operations.
• Competency with computers.
