Hospice Aide

About the role

As a Hospice Aide at Interim HealthCare, you'll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients during their most critical time. You'll provide one-on-one patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team, helping to establish and carry out their plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assistance in accordance with the plan of care.
• Aid with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care).
• Recognize and report abnormal findings or changes in patient status.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comfort and dignity throughout the patient's diagnosis.

Requirements

• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Certification required.
• Attention to detail; ability to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• Reliable transportation with proof of valid driver's license and auto insurance.
