Hospice Aide

About the role

As a Hospice Aide at Interim HealthCare, you'll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to clients during their most critical times. This role involves one-on-one patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assistance in accordance with the plan of care.
• Aid with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and skin care.
• Recognize and report abnormal findings or changes in patient status.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to establish and carry out a care plan focused on comfort and dignity.

Requirements

• State Tested Nursing Assistant Certification (Ohio only).
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and document patient conditions accurately.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
