Job Overview

The Horticulture Crew Leader is responsible for maintaining a variety of landscape structures and assisting with installation and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising a small team in performing daily horticultural and landscaping duties
• Ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every job site
• Aiding in the installation and care of woody, perennial, and annual plant material
• Assisting with a wide array of installation and maintenance responsibilities including mulching, planting, grading, etc.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Crew Leader
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
• Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping
• On-the-job training as a landscape crew member
• Experience in a leadership role advantageous
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions

Pay and Benefits
