Horticultural Assistant / Fine Gardener

Responsibilities

• Planting, dividing, weeding, mulching, pruning, deadheading and fertilizing using best horticultural practices.
• Monitor for pests and disease and report findings.
• Monitor irrigation system and report any problems.
• Hand water floral containers and vegetable garden area.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work space.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of hands-on, gardening experience (we will train).
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather for 8 hours per day.
• Self-motivated, dependable and able to manage time efficiently and execute tasks independently.
• Able to lift 30 pounds (including up/down stairs and hills).
• Possess a positive, collaborative team driven work ethic.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
