Honda Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager at Norm Reeves Dealerships is responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle financing and protection product process while ensuring a compliant, transparent, and positive purchase experience. This role partners closely with the sales team to maximize profitability, maintain lender relationships, and uphold Honda brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell finance and insurance products (extended warranties, GAP, maintenance plans, etc.)
• Secure competitive financing through approved lenders
• Ensure all deals are compliant with federal, state, and Honda guidelines
• Accurately complete and submit finance contracts and required documentation
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and captive lenders
• Review credit applications and explain financing options clearly to customers
• Work closely with sales managers and sales consultants to close deals efficiently
• Maintain CSI standards and deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Stay current on Honda programs, incentives, and compliance updates

Requirements

• Previous automotive Finance Manager experience required (Honda experience a plus)
• Automotive dealership sales experience required
• Strong understanding of automotive lending, F&I products, and compliance
• Proven ability to meet or exceed monthly finance and product penetration goals
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
