Program Type

Homes for All is the only AmeriCorps program primarily focused on housing and homelessness in Kentucky.

Mission

The mission of the Homes for All program is to provide housing-related services to individuals and families across Kentucky who are experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, or in search of affordable homeownership opportunities. Services include new home construction, home repairs, housing-focused case management, homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing, homeownership counseling, and housing navigation.

Eligibility

• AmeriCorps members must be at least 18 years of age, US citizens, nationals or legal residents.
• Successful applicants will pass a criminal background check, be committed to serving a year of full-time service with partner organizations, have a passion for combatting poverty, have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team, and be comfortable with public speaking.

Member Duties

Home for All AmeriCorps members serve at housing nonprofits around the state, providing housing and homeless services. Services include new home construction, home repairs, housing-focused case management, homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing, homeownership counseling, and housing navigation.
