Position Overview
The Homes.com Regional Director is responsible for the development and growth of the Homes.com product in their region. They will manage the day-to-day activities of the Field Sales Account Executives, attend relevant meetings, and ensure high levels of customer service to support sales success.
Responsibilities
- Arrange, hire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of Field Sales Account Executives to meet/exceed monthly sales revenue targets.
- Spend 3-4 days per week in the field with representatives, providing coaching and training to enhance their skills.
- Maintain oversight of team performance, holding representatives accountable for sales activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Set individual and team performance targets aligned with overall business goals, monitor performance, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure the adoption of CoStar Group culture and values among team members.
- Travel 50% of the time.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.
- 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more employees, including attracting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Experience managing sales efforts in a highly transactional, consultative sales-oriented, fast-paced organization with a short cycle-time sales model.
- A strong track record of commitment to prior employers.
- Current and valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Abstract check, and responsible driving behavior.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully mentoring and coaching sales teams to achieve their greatest potential.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry and experience leading a sales team with a high focus on customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term and sustainable relationships and business partnerships with clients at all levels.
- Effective internal and external relationship-building skills.
- Ability to retain proven team members and remove low performers.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations in a high-growth company environment.
