Overview

The Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology (CJ&S) at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is inviting applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position for the Master of Science in Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) online program. The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate-level online courses in homeland security. This position is not remote and faculty are expected to have a campus presence.

Responsibilities

  • Teach graduate-level online courses in homeland security on Canvas
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities on campus

Qualifications

  • A doctoral degree in criminal justice, homeland security, emergency management, sociology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Candidates with prior experience teaching graduate courses are preferred.
