Job Requirements
- Evaluates and trains the dialysis facility’s home peritoneal dialysis patients, care partners and families for the home dialysis program.
- Exercises knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment.
- Demonstrates familiarity with peritoneal dialysis equipment, procedures and the knowledge, skills, and judgement necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient.
- Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
- Twelve (12) months of experience in nursing.
- Mets all applicable state/licensing requirements.
- Additional three (3) months of experience in the specific modality unless otherwise specified in specific state regulations.
- Documented training and experience in peritoneal dialysis and/or home hemodialysis and maintenance of the dialysis access.
- Basic training certificates if less than one (1) year in this modality.
- Previous supervisory and teaching experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively with clients and fellow employees.

Salary Range
$42.00 - $46.00 / hour depending on experience and qualifications.
