Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of the client work plan.
- Work with the nurse to carry out the required services for each client, including personal care, home management, respite, and palliative care.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Travel as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Home Support Worker Training or a willingness to learn Home Support Worker skills with the Home Care Nurse.
- A combined relevant education and experience will be considered.
- Experience in working with elderly and/or disabled clients.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Assets: Bilingual in Inuktitut and English.
- Certificate in CPR and First Aid.
