We are seeking a dynamic individual to be the first interaction people have when they enter Home School Connections. We value teamwork and a positive growth mindset. This position should be willing to help out in whatever areas are needed in order to provide a happy and healthy learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors
- Greet students, families and visitors as they enter
- Answer phone calls and be prepared to answer general questions from the public
- Check background information on visitors before allowing entry to building
- Helping with attendance
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by administration

Skills

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and perform arithmetic operations as needed.
- Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software applications (e.g., Word, Infinite Campus, Google Communication Suite; spreadsheet, etc).
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and others contacted in the course of work.
- Ability to report work orally or in writing to supervisor as required.
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn the student information system (Infinite Campus).
- Ability to learn and become proficient in the use of Google calendar, sheets, and docs.
Physical and Mental Demands
- Work in standard office and school building environments.
- Ability to work outdoors during outdoor student activities.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Prior successful clerical experience preferred but not required.
Pay
$16.40–$25.63 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 8 hours per day
- 177 days per year
