Responsibilities
- Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
- Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, solving problems and building trusted relationships.
- Adeptly listen to customer needs and clearly explain practical solutions, winning customers over with confidence and care.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities and conduct yourself professionally and ethically with both customers and coworkers.
- Serve as an empathetic problem solver by utilizing in-depth training to recommend the best innovative pest solutions for each customer's needs.
- Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads, using Orkin’s robust advertising budget to provide leads.
- Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services and give them peace of mind.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home, following the in-depth training provided to address any questions and set expectations.
- Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and stay organized, receiving training on this tool.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
- Ability to work independently and interact with clients.
