Home Sales Inspector

Responsibilities

• Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
• Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and explain practical solutions to customers.
• Build trusted relationships and solve problems for customers.
• Serve as a problem solver by utilizing in-depth training to recommend the best pest solution for each customer.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads, using a robust advertising budget.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home and address any questions, explaining the process and setting expectations.
• Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company-provided iPad, receiving training on this tool.

Qualifications

• No experience required – Orkin will train you.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• The ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company-paid).
• Ability to work independently and interact with customers in various environments.
• Physical job requirements and the ability to safely perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., accessing crawl spaces, attics, and confined spaces, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may require an OSHA-compliant respirator.
